- Intimacy. Hold my waist. Stroke my neck. Kiss my forehead. Hold my hand.
- Maturity. Patience is amazing. A prize will come to you when the time is right. Its called falling in love. Waiting is hard. But worth it.
- Honesty. I don’t care what you’ve done. I care about what you will do in the future. Be honest with me, I’ll be honest with you.
- Care. Because not many people give a crap about anything anymore.
If you ever feel bad just remeber there is a gif of me floating around tumblr of when I was 8 and I sat on the escalator and knocked down a table of jewelry at macys
If you got to know me in real life, you’d eventually notice a bit of an odd quirk to my personality: the way I talk about people behind their backs, is exactly the same way I talk about them to their face. If you hear me say, “Jerry’s driving me crazy” and you see Jerry walk up behind me, you’d hear me say, “Now Jerry, bless your heart you’ve got to give me a break because you’re working my very last nerve, you know I love you, but dang Jerry.”
For some folks, that wouldn’t feel like the Christian way to handle it. But here’s the thing: Jerry knows where he stands with me, and he knows that I mean what I say. Therefore, when I tell Jerry I love him, he believes it. Jerry knows he’s driving everyone else crazy, but none of those “Christians” have the guts to tell him so. In the end, Jerry wonders if just maybe I’m the only real Christian in his life.
This idea is not original to me. It comes, of course, from The Bible. Romans 12:9 says “love must be sincere.” But when it says that word ‘sincere,’ it doesn’t mean what we might expect.
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. -Psalm 18:30
The Lord is righteous in all His ways and loving toward all He has made. The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. -Psalm 145:17-18
The bottom line is this:
I love you. But I can’t tell you
how or why or even when.
We haven’t met yet.
